Sustainability in Action
At Ramayana Water Park, we’re committed to creating a greener future through measurable and meaningful actions. From energy-efficient pump systems and smart water-saving sensors to responsible waste management, local sourcing, and reducing plastic waste, sustainability is at the heart of how we operate the park every day.

Local sourcing of landscape
Covering over 160,000 square meters, we invest over 2 million THB annually in native plants sourced from local nurseries, supporting small businesses. Local sourcing ensures healthy growth, reduces environmental impact, and enhances the park’s natural beauty.
Efficient Water Management
Our advanced water circulation and filtration system allows us to reuse approximately 92% of the 11,000 m³ of water used at our water park, significantly reducing the need for fresh water intake while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Treated wastewater is reused for landscape irrigation, minimizing water waste.
Energy-efficient pump systems
Ramayana Water Park has partnered with Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions, to upgrade our water circulation systems with high-efficiency pumps. This project has led to a 31% reduction in electricity costs and a decrease of over 700 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Smart sensors on water Slides
At Ramayana Water Park, we’ve installed smart water sensors on nearly all of our water slides to control water flow. This initiative helped us to reduce energy consumption by more than 35% and contribute to more sustainable park operations, while maintaining a fun and safe guest experience.
EV charging stations
Ramayana Water Park has partnered with EVolt to provide 3 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for our guests. Located in a shaded parking area for added comfort, these chargers offer a fast and convenient charging experience during the visit. This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting sustainable transportation and reducing carbon emissions.
Waste separation system
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through responsible waste management. Throughout the park, we provide clearly labeled trash bins with three separate sections to encourage proper waste disposal: General Waste, Plastic Waste, Recyclable Waste.
Preserving a natural lake
From the very beginning, our water park was built around a natural lake. We decided to preserve and protect this lake, carefully designing the park around it. Our team takes active steps to maintain the lake in excellent condition by regularly cleaning it, monitoring water quality, and adding oxygen to support aquatic life.
Use of Natural Energy
Our semi-outdoor structures maximize airflow and natural light, reducing the need for air conditioning and artificial lighting. This thoughtful design helps to contribute to lower energy usage and support our commitment to sustainable and eco-conscious operations.
Water-saving Sensors
As part of our commitment to sustainable water use, we installed motion-sensor faucets at sinks and male urinals. These systems help to reduce unnecessary water waste by up to 30% compared to traditional fixtures.
In harmony with nature
Our park is thoughtfully designed to preserve and highlight its natural surroundings. Architecture, facilities, and landscaping seamlessly blend with the environment, creating a paradise where nature and enjoyment flourish together.
